Romina Carancini was born on December 1, 1984 in Trastevere, one of the most beautiful and picturesque zone of Roma.

    Her first sport step is the artistic gym, where she distinguishes thanks to her elegance in movements and her extremely good technique.

   At the age of 12 she decides so to follow another way… dancing! She begin to attend lessons in a dance-centre in Rome, where she learns the fundamentals. Thanks to her personality – strong, passion and determinate- and her giving all herself to this new discipline, she obtains important credits and her first satisfactions: she is the winner at the first edition of the famous international festival “Scarpetta Crystal of Dance”, taken place in Fermo in 2002, and her first place as modern talent at the Grand Prix Praha 2003.

    July 2003: Romina finishes brilliantly High School ITCS "Arangio Ruiz" of Roma. Then she decides to enter into La Sapienza “University” in Roma, faculty of Psychology of communication and marketing.

    September 2004, the turning point: after passed a lot of selections Romina attends the 4° edition of a famous TV-school "Amici di Maria De Filippi", the first talent-show in Italy. She faces with determination all the obstacles that the show takes to her and the other participants: exams, competitions, and audience’s judgement and so on… and the 21 of April 2005, after 9 months of work, she is one of the four finalists (and the only girl) of the show. Thanks to this experience under reflectors, people discovered her talent and personality too: she is mature and respectful, she does always her best and she tries continually to better herself. She is a shy and reflective girl, she definite herself head hard but also ready to change her judgements on people when she understands that she was wrong. She believes in friendship and she’s always ready to listen to people. She is not particularly superstitious, the only scaramantic object are the earrings that her Grams gave to her.

    After the Amici experience she is in all the most important Italian squares and she participates to a lot of shows, in Italy and not, dancing and presenting.

    The tv adventure goes on successfully: she enters into the corp the ballet of "Buona Domenica", one of the most important Sunday shows in Italy, hosted by Maurizio Costanzo.

    In the same period her artistic career arrives at a very important stage: the musical. She becomes member of the "Lungomare"’s company, produced by Maurizio Costanzo, musicated by Alex Britti, the direction of Patrick Rossi Gastaldi and Steve La Chance as choreographer. Romina has the occasion to show her abilities as actor and singer.

    Because of her talent and her success she wins the roman "premio fantasia Garbatella" as character of the year, won in the preview edition also from Pino Insegno and Ferzan Ozpetek.

    From summer 2006, one of the famous choreographer in the world, Luca Tommassini, is greatly impressed by her talent and task her to take part to a lot of prestigious experiences; we cite only the principals: "10° trofeo Birra Moretti", "Viva radio 2… minuti", an innovative show hosted by Fiorello and Baldini, "Parenti talenti", the videoclip "Dip it", of the American rapper Coolio, "MTV music awards 2008", and many advertising.

    Fabrizio Mainini and Alberta Allegrezza appreciate her abilities too. Romina becomes member of the corp the ballet of "50 Canzonissime della tv" and "Telethon", great experience began in 2006 and continued the following year.

    At the end of 2006, she passes an audition with the choreographer Manolo Casalino, to dance in the corp the ballet of "la Corrida" hosted by Jerry Scotti; she remains in this production for two consecutive editions, in 2007 and 2008.

    It’s the moment of Marco Garofalo who wants her in "Ciao Darwin 5", Romina is a member of corp the ballet for the autumn 2007, dancing in important roles.

    After the brief experience of "Bellissima" with Bagaglino, Simona Ventura and her production chose Romina to take part at the cast of "Quelli che il calcio e..." 2009/2010 and 2010/2011. For two years, Romina can perform in a one of the most charmed and proved sunday's show. The choregrapher Roberta Mastromichele, with Francesco Saracino first and Irma Di Paola than, always devolves upon Romina foremost parts. In Spring 2010 Romina is in the cast of "Attenti a quei due", choreographed by Rita Pivano.

    At the beginning of 2011 Mirella Rosso, the coreographer of "Zelig Arcimboldi", the comic show italian people loves the most, wants Romina to take part of her corp of the ballet. January 2012: Romina has confirmed for the second year.

    In the autumn of 2011, another Mediaset leading show, "Io Canto", hosted by Jerry Scotti with the artistic direction of Antonio Baldes, deploys Romina among the ranks of his dancers.

    Her undoubted artistic abilities bring her to front another important step: cinema. She has secondary roles in two Italian famous movies: "Manuale d’amore 2 – Capitoli successivi" and "Natale a New York", but it was just the beginning: in the autumn 2008 she enters in the cast of "Nine", an Hollywood production directed and choreographed by Robert Marshall (oscar 2003 for Chicago). The cast includes important names like Penelope Cruz, Judie Dench, Kate Hudson, Nicole Kidman, Sophia Loren e Daniel Day Lewis; Romina has important roles in the corp the ballet of this movie.

The way in the cinematographic career doesn’t stop. Romina continues in this direction thanks to Luca Tommassini, who chooses her to be part of the corps the ballet in a scene contained in the film "The tourist" directed by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck and with Johnny Deep and Angelina Jolie as protagonist.

    Not only a dancer, Romina is now also a coreographer: she directed the dancing scenes in the new Fausto Brizzi's movie "Com'è bello far l'amore", with Fabio De Luigi and Claudia Gerini.

    Dancer, coreographer.. and actress. She is the protagonist of "Tempo di Reazione", indipendent movie directed by Antonio Micciulli.

    ...and she’s studying too to betterize her talent towards new important performances and shows.
